In a strip mall on east lincoln way, not too far past intersection of lincoln way and duff. I believe that location used to house USDA labs. :wideeyed:

Is this the best place to go in Ankeny? We have only tried Jade Garden and it is ok.

House of Chen is at 705 East Lincoln Way in some strip mall. Horrible location, but awesome food. Haverhill goes there once every couple of weeks.

Did you ever try the curried lobster with sliced mangos? The best.

Never tried it. I really would love to find a good place in Ames. House of Chen isn't bad, but I don't remember it being spectacular.

I lived on Hyland (just up from Wood St) and this was why I'm a big CHC fan. Between the 7 guys who lived in our house there was rarely no CHC in the fridge.

I love leftover chinese food. Wake up in the morning, and go grab it straight outta the fridge and eat it cold. It's too good to waste time warming it up, once you take a bite you just gotta keep eating because its so good. :yes:
