Good but their location has to be rough on them

I've never even heard of this place. Where is it?

FWIW, I didn't capitalize Asian because animal crackers only come in 18 shapes.

I get the Chef's Special chicken every time I go. I haven't even ventured out to try the orange or lemon, about which I've heard great things.

House of Chen is still open? Wow, blast from the past, I used to eat there in High School.

Went there for the first time today because of this post. The chef's special chicken was good, but a little too sweet for my tastes. Definitely will go back and try other things on the menu.

Re: The House of Chen
I remember it also; is it still on north side of North Grand Mall?
-
Re: The House of Chen
Used to love the place. Unfortunately, the location is the problem. I didn't have a car for the first 18 months in Ames (I only spent 2 years there) so couldn't go as often as I would have liked.
Is it still by the North Grand Mall ?

I liked Chinese Homestyle the best. I ate there quite a bit when I lived on Wood St, because I would walk right passed it everyday coming home from class.
