    I would think it someone DIES in your ******* elevator you would do everything humanly possible to get them fixed/replaced.

    Yes, Ames is a mid-sized college town of 50,000... what does that have to do with anything? Not every town in America can be as big and exciting and packed with elevators as St. Louis...
