Isn't Curtiss the main Ag building? I don't see them cutting any of those programs.

There are some departments and curriculums that need to go. They are nothing more than remedial Grade 13 programs.

It's astonishing what some people can receive for a University degree nowadays...........and a few of those folks are on athletic scholarship.

Anthro is up on the top floor and there's a couple other mini programs around in there that I wouldn't be surprised to see go first

Yes...they're going to cut an entire college...and the major base of most post-secondary education programs at that

Ha oh I know. I used to be a sys admin for the Soc. department and part of my responsibility was that awful building.

I would hope ISU would look at what UNI, U of I offers and see which programs overlap. Does each regent school need a sociology, anthropology, etc. department? Tough times call for tough decisions.

No, they need to look at what departments aren't offering the University funding or the possibility of future funding through grants, etc.

It's mind-boggling the amount of tenured professors at a research instiution who aren't even attempting to do...you know...research
