Campus Visit

I go to ISU and one of my friends who is a senior in high school is trying to decide between the three state schools. I told her if she came up sometime I'd give her an unofficial tour of the campus and Ames. She's planning on majoring in psychology at the moment. Anybody have any good ideas as to where to take her or things to show her that I might not have thought of? She's already been on an official visit

I spent about 1 hour of my campus visit on the official tour. Then I snuck off and drank at a buddy's house the rest of the day. That sealed the deal for me. This is also how I met Geronimous.

From the sound of it, that's how everyone's met Geronimous.

Just walk her around campus. Hit up Jeffs Pizza or something like that. Go into the library and whatever other buildings she may be interested in. If I had to do it over I would have never gone on a school presented visit. I didn't get anything out of it.

This is kinda what I was thinking. There's only so much she can see on an official visit, and you can't really get a feel what it would be like to actually go to the school. That's kinda my goal here

I went on a official visit and it sucked, i took a unofficial one with my dad and mom who both graduated from iowa state and i loved it, they showed me all the things a prospective student wants to see not the at iowa state we boast more then twenty different land marks blah blah, yeah its all good stuff and makes it interesting but you have four years to figure it all out while your there you gotta show her things that will make her feel like its home for the next four years show her hilton, jack trice, library, memorial union, etc.

Bastards.
If I have to tell you things to show her I'm really disappointed in you as an ISU alum.
