ISU Accounting
Quick question for anyone who knows....how many years total would it take to get a masters in accounting at ISU? A friend of mine was curious....any accounting majors out there?
Someone told me you could do it in four years total (undergrad and masters), I didn't believe it. Is that possible?

That's what I was thinking.....however, I was unable to refute the claim (though I let my friend know I was very skeptical) because I know little to nothing about accounting.

Re: ISU Accounting
152.5 credits for a Masters. 122.5 for a Bachelors. You start on a 5 year plan. but it's very possible to do in 4 years. Just have to take 30 credits over 4 summers, which is nothing, especially if you transfer in a bunch.
(for the record, I am a MAcc at ISU )

Re: ISU Accounting
You can get an MBA with an ME degree in about 5 years, so I would assume that would be the same if not quicker for an accounting major. Maybe that is what they are talking about.

Re: ISU Accounting
My wife got her MBA and passed her CPA in 5 years, doing it any faster than that would require having no social life at all.

Re: ISU Accounting
I've gotta take Acct 285 next semester. Should I take it with Whittle or Christensen?
