Yep, will get a pie for a snack this afternoon. Just got back from central campus BBQ. Watched the Forestry kids beat the Civil Engineering kids in tug of war. Apparently there is a cool story behind this involving an Axe trophy the foresters found in the basement of Science II this year.

God... I wish I was up there right now. I'd be sitting in the backyard on Woodland playing bags and drinking beer.

Slaving away in the dungeon of Drake Law school instead. I should be in Ames before midnight, so there will be plenty of partying left, assuming my brother and my buddies who still live in Ames aren't too snookered.

I lived on Hunt in 04 and was pretty good friends with Pat and Adam the guys that had the party at the apts. It was common place to have an all apt. party there on any given day, cops caused the riot.

They really did, and anyone who watched it could tell you as much. I was at the party(s) on Hunt St that night, and people weren't out of control. There were just a lot of people drinking beer in yards, having fun. Then the cops tried to break it all up for basically no reason. If they had just left that crowd alone, there never would have been a riot. Period.

It is not technically a major any more. It was merged with Animal Ecology to form the Natural Resources Ecology and Management (NREM) department. However, it is one of ISUs most historic programs.

Just had pizza on central campus... Dr. Hill spoke at the opening ceremonies and said the sun will come back...which it did about 30 seconds later.
