    No.

    Maybe a studio style but I doubt even that. I'm not sure you could get a cardboard box and a tarp furnished for under 400 in Ames.

    I think Sterling used to offer furnished apartments. I suppose if you went there and shared a 4 br apartment you might find something around $400 a month. Your best bet is to find someone on facebook looking for a roommate and use their furniture. GL

    ya some come furnished in Freddy but definitely not for that price...i've heard south meadows over by duff are cheap and are furnished

    I knew someone who lived in one of the west ames apartments where you could rent by the month and they were furnished apartments. I'm not sure which company, but it was one of the ones in west ames.

    I know which ones your talking about, I had a friend who lived in those but I can't remember the name. They are the 2 story building directly west of Kum and Go with the Ames Racquet and Fitness Center in them. I don't think they rent by the month anymore, though. I think 6 month contracts are the shortest they have now.

    I also know that University Plains (I WOULD NOT LIVE THERE, BTW) used to offer furnished apts. They don't have single bedrooms though, only 3 and 4.

    I know a guy that could probably help you with this. It may require providing some extra "services" on the side, however.
