Re: Student Found Near Train Tracks Update
I doubt it was suicide..well at least not planned
there was only a small window of time that she was left alone and I know trains go through ames quite frequently (70+ a day) but it seems odd that she would time it perfect to get hit...the whole thing is just fishy.

I would guess that most unsolved deaths accrue in ways most people would find unlikely. That is part of the reason they are unsolved. Seriously, there was a guy that was found dead beside a road (I think it was down in Oregon). It was determined he fell out of a hot air balloon. If you saw someone laying beside the road would you automatically think that? Even if you know that his injuries were consistent with a fall, you probably would think he died somewhere else and was dumbed there.
I'm not saying that is what happened, but it is a possibility and I think in many ways it is more likely than someone dumping her next to tracks that her friends say she walked by all the time.

No, its a message board. But if you wanna play Detective have fun.

Here's the latest on this situation. The autopsy confirms multiple blunt force injuries after being struck by a train.

Re: Student Found Near Train Tracks Update
Maybe similar to the Ray Brower situation
Re: Student Found Near Train Tracks Update
Sounds like a murder case to me.

Something about it really has never seemed right. Could just be tragic fluke incident, but the circumstances just seem really odd.

What about the guy she was with? I still think somehow he is involved. They got into a fight and he threw her at the train........ He supposedly went back to get a car. I guess I don't buy his story. Maybe I'm off base, but it does sound like murder to me. Just my opinion.
Re: Student Found Near Train Tracks Update
Aren't the blunt force injuries from the train?

I agree, the route they took to get back to Freddy court seems odd to me. When I lived in Freddy court walking home from Welch, I would walk by the union, then by Gerdin and walk to the tunnel under the bridge. I understand that some people may not want to walk by themselves through campus, but this girl was walking with another guy. I would think walking through campus wouldn't be a problem. But I could be wrong.

Ames has the weirdest accidental deaths
Re: Student Found Near Train Tracks Update
If she was on an overpass, she may have jumped onto the train; hence the cameras didn't see her. She may have "bounced" on the top causing multiple blunt force injuries. Just a theory.
