Some of my closest friends to this day are from my days living in Larch. As a matter of fact, I was so close with one of them, I married her! ew.. you married your sister?? When Prepared, Fear No One. -
Re: Larch
I work for the DOR and am in and out of every dorm on campus. Obviously, Maple is the nicest. Willow is a little bit nicer than Larch. The rooms in larch aren't the biggest, but the Dens have new furniture, as of last year. Willow and larch are both scheduled to get some facelifting/life cycling done this summer. Not sure what it all includes, assuming new carpet, paint, etc.

Re: Larch
I lived in Linden my first two years. And some of the craziest nights I had was when we ventured over to Larch. Though, I had plenty of crazy nights in Linden as well. In short, with the right people surrounding you, it won't really matter where you live. Those first couple of years in college are still a couple of the best of my life. There's nothing else like it. Enjoy...

Re: Larch
I loved living in Larch, I lived there with a high school friend on first floor for 4 years, ended up being hall president for a year. Granted, we had 1361 which was one of 2 rooms in the entire building that had its own bathroom, couldn't give that up. We also had one of the best RA's in the building my first few years. Freshman year was 2001, Nick Ford was the RA, some of the best memmories of my life took place there with those guys, wouldn't have traded it for anything.

Re: Larch
There were a lot of hot women living there roughly a decade ago. Probably the same now, so its pretty cool to live there.

Your CA will have a lot to do with whether your floor is great or sucks. Well, if she lives in a sorority, she can't have any shackees. She'll have to be the shacker. -

If you like waking up on the weekends to puke and trash all over the hallways and building you will love Larch.

The rooms are pretty small, and it does get a little "messy" from the weekends but I had a great time. I would agree with most of the other posters, you will meet a lot of new people very quickly. The coed floors are also nice, I think it would be much better than an all guys floor in Willow. Never understood the appeal of a 24/7 sausage fest...

Re: Larch
only nerds live in dorms.
The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... people will come Ray. People will most definitely come. -

Wierd, another come back that makes no sense. You wouldn't understand since the University of Phoenix probably didn't make freshman stay in the dorms.
