Get microwaves and radios. The microwaves will keep the idiots entertained long enough that they're not annoying you with their radios. At least, that's how it works over here.
Yeah. I hate the whole "No Microwave" rule. It really hamstrings what you can bring from home. Cold meat or salad. What will it be today?

I'm not going to lie. I've brought my Ipod in so I don't have to listen to other people. I just keep it in one ear in case my phone rings.

    There's a difference?

See, that's why I said from 10:30-2:30! The rest of the day I'm okay with! Although, I get my fair share of the personal life stories, as well as hearing about what happened on American Idol/Survivor/Dancing with the Stars/whatever stupid 'reality show' was on last night. I bought speakers for my iPod, and when I can still hear the people next to me talking about Idol or whatever, I actually put my head phones on. My phone rarely rings, so I don't have to worry about that.

As for regular radio, I can usually get about 1 minute of static-free 103.3 about once every other month. No other stations come in. Thus the iPod. I'm assuming that's why this lady uses the tv radio.

And don't get me started on the stupid microwaves!

Do we have the same neighbors or are there that many annoying people out there? I'm guessing the latter.

Well, I would try, but my husband has instilled in me the desire to keep EVERYTHING off the computer monitor - fingers, pens, pencils, food....

I think the producers of the show knew if they did hire her they better update their resumes because the show would go in the tank with her as the host.

I still think John O'Hurley is the guy they need to hire. He's likable and carries himself much like Bob did in a classy way.
