Who wants to bet this guy will get a scholarship next year? He may be the real deal. Edina kids generally have the best coaching, parents with the money for extra camps etc. He may get his chance this season.

Too bad about Vargas. Was it the weights, the earlies, the grades or all 3?

I also see that OL Landon Streit and LB Matt Leaders are not listed and that LB Fabian Brown and OL James Carpenter are not listed with the rest of the newcomers.

was Streit one of those guys that graduated early and gave up their final year?!?
Fabian would be a real loss. He was supposed to be one of the better players in last year class.
Leaders is a touchy subject, i know his family has done a lot for ISU, but i remember he was gonna be a walkon or grey shirt and got a full ride right away. Hes probably better suited at UNI.
These might just be errors, but if theyrenotn the team any more, i wish em all the best.

also word was that Fabian Brown's grades were not the best and that he may have to go the JC route until he can qualify
