I don't think you need to ask what the world is coming to. This sort of thing was much more common in the past, especially in the southern states.

That article did a pretty bad job laying out the timeline.
Was the school aware of the relationship prior to his resignation and/or the marriage?
If so, he should've been canned on the spot.
How much time between the marriage and the resignation? Which came first?
