No, actually it is many in the older crowd that thinks that LSU has great unis, very similar to the throwback ones that we are wearing for the Iowa game. And would like us to wear something similar (in our colors of course).
The problem is that for many on here, Iowa State football did not begin to field a football team until 1995, and as we were told over and over, all that came before that magic year was bad, and hope only arrived with the hiring of our previous coach. 
Cosequently, the ketchup and mustard, pez dispenser look became the symbol of the juggenaut that has been Cyclone football in this century.

I like them, but actually think they will look even better with our road whites. If I were to nitpick, I don't care for the logo on the pants, I would have stuck with the nike swish..........  | | | |

I think these are pretty decent for a temp job. will say that I was really freaking out how bad the jerseys would look with generic gold pants, but it doesn't look too....bad.
The pictue above is my vote.
We just need to figure out the helmet. The helmet is what is the difference maker. My vote for the helmet is the goldish not mustard yellow with punching cy on the side. I wouldn't mind seeing my avatar ona real gold helmet, but that is just me.
I think we are in good hands and we should be thankful for JP and Co.
We would still be stuck in 1st gear with anyone other average AD.
