Oldest = Smartest (?)

Try as I might, my two younger brothers aren't convinced.

Oldest? You might be smartest too - More Health News - MSNBC.com

I got a fever, and the only prescription, is more cowbell.

In the study, the difference between the groups (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc) is less than 1% of total 1st born's IQ score. I suppose the data backs the theory but the differential is nothing to brag about. If first borns were scoring 120-130 and second borns were at 101, then I would be impressed.

I don't think it matters, but I will say I enjoy reading opinions on here from folks in that 35-45 age range. You guys aren't any smarter, but you can't put a price on experience.

It's called perspective, and having a foundation of knowledge because you have seen more. It doesn't make you a better fan or "more" right than someone else, but it does give you a better platform from which to base arguments, because both sides of an issue, are fairly apparent.

I know when I was the age of many on here, I didn't want to hear anything other than what I believed either. The world was black and white, right and wrong. The thing is, that as you get a little older, and have real life experiences, the gray that exists creeps in.

Are you talking debates/arguments, or hair?

Through the fire and the flames we'll carry on.
