Re: Mike Taylor skates -- for now

First off if he is not playing basketball he would not go to school here. Second, if he is prone to making bad decisions off the court, how do you think he will do on the court. Would it be so bad to give the young ones a chance and struggle early on and maybe all season, to give them valuable experience for next year. Bottom line we are probably only an NIT team at best anyway. I almost hope he screws up again.

The apartment where Michael's mother and brothers live is not in the heart of the inner city of Milwaukee, but it is a fringe neighborhood. The high school (John Marshall) that he attended is in that same fringe neighborhood with an enrollment is 88% black. His two younger brothers each attend different high schools.

I am a good fan, just being realistic. Before MT we had no offense, and he provided that for us. You don't think someone would step up and do the same without him?

Hoping one of our players screws up again? Wow...

At least you're...um...honest.

I don't get it. How are his bad decisions off the court related to his decisions on the court? I guess I'll answer my own question. They're not related in any way. I'm not trying to be a jerk; I just don't see any correlation and don't understand the point you are trying to make. A kid steals cough medicine and that means he will make bad decisions in a basketball game? That makes no sense at all. Does Kobe Bryant's bad behavior off the court translate into bad decisions on the court?

Wow. I guess your probably hoping he screws up so that he doesn't drop 30 on your hawks? MT DOES make bad decisions on the court, as evidenced by his huge turnover numbers! But that has very little to do with his off the court decisions. He does make our team better. He's an explosive scoring threat, just ask the Gophers.

They "young ones" will see plenty of time whether MT is playing or not.

I have hope for more than the NIT. What does the team REALLY lose from next year that they can't replace? I see a returning cast that is bigger, stronger and have a year in GMac's system and a group of newcomers who can provide depth and outside shooting that the team lacked last year. Is it too much to ask to expect an extra 5-6 wins?? I don't think so.

Do or do not, there is no try .....Yoda

Okay...got it...you don't like MT and we should kick him to the curb. And you wish someone on the team would screw up...check, and you are a good fan....Check. I am all caught up.

First off, what makes you say that? Do you know his ACT scores?

Secondly, I make terrible decisions on the court, but not off the court. I fail to see a correlation.

I agree, the Hawks will probably only make the NIT next year.

I almost hope stupidity causes cancer, as I believe the stupidity in this world is too much to bear.

All work and no play makes me a dull boy.

Re: Mike Taylor skates -- for now

Look, all I'm saying is that he makes alot of mistakes on the court. We will never be great with him at the helm. Granted we will probably be better off with him next year, because we need someone to score, but if he didn't play I think we would be just as good of a team by the end of the year. I'm not trying to hate, I'm just saying that if we lost him it would not be the end of the world.

Re: Mike Taylor skates -- for now

As PsychedClone stated, a players abilities (or lack thereof) should not play a part in deciding if he stays or goes. It also shouldn't play a part in fans wishing a player would do something stupid in order to get kicked off the team.

In fact, fans shouldn't ever wish this upon a player that suits up for their team.

Please, stop now. The hole you are digging keeps getting deeper and deeper...

If you take into account that he played out of position all of last season at PG, then his experience on the court improves drastically. I think his natural spot was the 2 position? Not the PG?

All by yourself, you've painted yourself as someone that hopes one of our players gets into trouble and is booted from the team just because you don't like how he plays.

I don't even need to get the paint or brush...

Alright, you're stating an opinion. An ignorant opinion that "almost" wishes ill-will for the rest of our beloved 'Clones. Hoping that something happens to hurt/hinder the team is stupid at best. I could say other things, but I don't want to hurt your feelings. I've seen all of your posts, and they all have an ignorant ring to them to some extent. You brought this criticism upon yourself.

If you can't stand the heat, you shouldn't come into the kitchen...
