Former Cyclone Dominates UHL Playoffs | |
Recently, I posted about former Cyclone Hockey star Glenn Detulleo. He recently was involved in one of the greatest post season matchups in the history of the United Hockey League as a member of the Kalamazoo Wings. Detulleo was third on the K-Wings in scoring and led the UHL in assists during the post season. Unfortunately for Detulleo and the Wings, they fell in the decisive Game 7 of the United Hockey League finals to the Rockford IceHogs.
Detulleo was bounced around all season in trades. He is a former QC Mallard and is widely regarded as one of the finest play makers in the league. According to Coach Murdoch, who still remains in contact with Detulleo, the skilled forward from Canada may be on the move to play pro in Europe, though he may stay in Kalamazoo. Detulleo is widely regarded as the best player in Cyclone Hockey history. He received the Bob Johnson award as the Nation's Most Valuable Player in 2001. We'll keep you posted on Glenn's career!
