Harrison Barnes?

These quotes from the Cap City thread seem to differ on Harrison Barnes. In some places I heard we had offered, yet one of these posters isn't sure while another says he has verballed. Anyone able to offer clarity?

Re: Harrison Barnes?
If you were to guess his star value at this point, what would it be? 4...maybe 5?

Re: Harrison Barnes?
I've heard he has definite 4-5 star POTENTIAL. He's just a baby right now but a very talented baby with a pedigree.

Re: Harrison Barnes?
Well he has potential, just as everyone said. If we get him to verbal early, it will keep his star level down because less schools and recruiting services will look at him closely. If he doesn't verbal till 2009, he very well may be a 4 or 5 star recruit.

Re: Harrison Barnes?
Who cares what his rating is? He'll be the same player when he steps on campus if he is a 5 star or a 2 star. I'd hate to miss out on the kid since he's from Ames and a legacy. He'd be a huge crowd favorite.

Re: Harrison Barnes?
iowa has now offered. Id love to see him commit to ISU after an offer from Iowa(hopefully its true he already has) I saw him play in the Cap City last sunday. He looked shy, but hes only 15 yrs old playing against men. He had flashes of brilliance, and will only get better. If I was on ESPN, i would say he has unlimited "upside" or "potential".
