Michigan Spends 226 Million on stadium renovation

It'd be nice to just throw your weight around like that. They are adding 83 suites and 3200 club seats, so as they say, the rich get richer.

This renovation is needed and those that have been to the Big House can atest. It probably has the same amount of bathrooms that Jack Trice has.

It's needed. I've never been to the Big House, but I have friends in the Iowa Marching Band that have gone, and they say that everyone is crammed in there like sardines, and that the number of bathrooms are horrible. Can't imagine why it would be cost effective to spend $226 million on adding 3200 seats, though.

Deep within the heart of Iowa, a storm is brewing...
... the winds of change ripple throughout the vast fields of corn surrounding the small college town of Ames.

The Gene Chizik era of football continues, and, with it, a renewed attitude of pride, determination, and success.

It's cost effective because they are adding so many boxes and club seats. There are zero boxes currently at michigan stadium.

I didn't see that they were adding 80+ suites. That makes perfect sense now.

How much would it cost us if we wanted to build a new 60,000 seat stadium with room for expansion? That is a lot of cash
