OT: classic Barnstormers game on TV

ESPN Classic (channel 34 in Ames) has an AFL game with the Barnstormers hosting the Tampa Bay Storm in Vets. I think it's ArenaBowl X, but I'm not sure. I'm really disappointed that the Barnstormers aren't around anymore- I've never seen arena football before, and I would definitely have attended these games! Looks like a really fun time- the crowd is right on top of the action and rowdy as all hell! What happened to the team?

They went belly up and are now the New York Dragons. Alot of the guys currently on the Dragons were on the Barnstormers.

Aren't the getting another AF2 Team for Wells Fargo Arena?

Yes there is a AFL2 team that is coming to Wells Fargo. I hope they can bring back the Barnstormer name. Also with the new addictions to the AFL2 league a certain number of those teams would be allowed to move up to AFL if they are making enough money.

Yeah, the Barnstormers are coming back. I think next year?

Wikipedia says the Barnstormers are coming back in 2008. The af2 site also has a link to a February 2007 Rag article that looks like it's about the same thing, but the link is broken and I can't find it on the Rag's site.
