I didn't even want to post it... i'm glad they basically said he's a shooter who can't create his own shot, play d, etc... oh well. Good riddance...
Congrats i guess?
by the New Orleans Hornets, 2nd round #43.
I didn't expect to see him get picked, but hope he does well representing the state of Iowa.
Surprised he went so early, but maybe he's got a chance there. I don't like the guy, but good luck to him.
It's always good to see a native Iowan drafted. I wish him well!
Interesting pick by NO/OK. They seem to have a lot of capable guards and Adam wasn't that highly regarded so not sure why they chose to go this way. Sometimes second rounders have a tough time making the squad. Not sure what they're thinking. He's got a shot at playing in the NBA, but I thought Will (in last year's draft) was a lot better prospect and everybody remembers he fell to a little later.
Hornets message board= not pleased with the pick.

Most of their displeasure isn't fair, but still comical.
He's going to have to really work on his game to even have as much as a "Drew Tate" chance.Quote:
Is it a legitimate chance, or a "Drew Tate" chance?
Drew Tate and Brad Banks didn't have a "chance" IMO. Atleast Adam has a prayer. If he shows up in the summer league and his knocking down shots, you almost have to keep him considering you don't have much invested.
Wow, definitely would've taken JamesOn Curry before him
I give him a max. of one year in the NBA before we see him over in Europe - if that
Watching the draft tonight, I got to wondering about whether or not Jiri has a shot at being drafted next year or not. The NBA is always looking for size, and he has that if nothing else. I don't see him being a 1st rounder, but I'm just curious.....
