just a phone

I've been a cell phone user for a long time, in fact I don't remember if I've ever actually had a "land-phone" that wasn't my parents - so I like the technology.

BUT, I just want a cheap phone that is still cool. I own a SLVR that is awesome, but I never use anything except the actual phone and the alarm clock.

One of these cell phone companies needs to trim a phone down to just the basics, put it in a slick shell (rather than the completely cheeseily thick free phones) and sell it at a reduced rate.

of course I'm guessing the "options" is where all the money is made, but I can wish.

I am with you. I own a motorola krzr but never use any of the features. I guess I just don't have the time to mess around with and figure everything out.
