CN Magazine

I have no desire to ever get any website subscriptions but my wife gave me a B-day present that also included a subscription to Cyclone Nation magazine...but she didn't order it yet.

I'm wondering if any CF members get this mag and if it's worth $40 a year for 10 issues? I've only casually thumbed through it at book stores.

Thanks!

Re: CN Magazine

It's kinda interesting, some nice pictures and articles, but nothing you will not learn from the various message boards.

Re: CN Magazine

It depends. They do a good job, but if you are a member of the site most of the info is old due to obvious publishing delays. There are a couple unique articles that are not published on-line which make the mag a little more desirable. The last issue with Trent Paulson on the cover had some good football interviews, which were not available on line. Not sure I helped.

Re: CN Magazine

Pros: The magazine is well put together. Looks very professional. Good indepth articles about recruits and coaches.

Cons: Most of the info is about a month or two behind. If you frequent message boards don't expect any new info other than personal bios.

I personally stopped getting the magazine when I dropped my CN subscription. And haven't choosen to subscribe to the magazine.

Since CN is no longer doing anything worth noting on their site I'd be hesitant to subscribe to the mag. In the past it was pretty good but a little old if you frequent the boards.

Umm...isn't the correct answer:

"Honey, I love the birthday present, and the CN subscription just made it all the more awesome! I can't wait to get the first issue!"

???

That's only the correct answer if you like sleeping in your own bed. If you like the couch, the answer would be "Meh, I guess it's the thought that counts."

Through the fire and the flames we'll carry on.
