Rodney Williams
Saw this in the St. Paul Pioneer Press about Rodney Williams, who we are recruiting: Rodney Williams, the 6-foot-5 incoming Robbinsdale Cooper High basketball junior, opened eyes at LeBron James' top-100 summer invitational last weekend when he leapfrogged a 6-7 opponent who was bracing to take a charge and slam-dunked over him. Forever trying to find a cure for the Dunning-Kruger Effect. -

Re: Rodney Williams
There are two top 50 players in the class of 2009 in the state of Minnesota, Royce White and Rodney Williams. Both of them have narrowed their choices down to Iowa State, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.

Re: Rodney Williams
Might be tougher to grab those Minnesota recruits with Tubby Smith in Minneapolis these days. Nevertheless, I'm excited to see us going toe to toe with Big 10 schools and holding our own.

I don't know where you heard this, but the most recent news is that they are receiving a bundle of new offers, including Iowa, and it's a wide open race at this point.
Why would to players with this much talent narrow their choices this early in the game?

Why would to players with this much talent narrow their choices this early in the game? You guys won't have wanted them after they come here anyway. Forever trying to find a cure for the Dunning-Kruger Effect. -

I would have to agree. I would go a bit farther to say, do we even have a chance with Jamil Wilson anymore?

Tubby could not recruit at Kentucky. Not so sure he can recruit at Minnisota. His biggest problem at Kentucky was getting 5 and 4 star guys. Look at what Billie G has got at Kentucky in the last few months.
I would take one of the 3 that have been mentioned in this thread.
Royce White
Rodney Williams
Jamil Wilson
I think White and Williams are our best chances. Wisky and some bigger names are all over Wilson.

Re: Rodney Williams
I kinda like goin for the W's... after all that's all you're going to see next to Iowa State in the score boxes in the future.
This is my sarcasm pirate. There are many like it but this one is mine. -
Re: Rodney Williams
Did we ever hear anything about Barnes getting on offer/commitment from ISU? I haven't heard for awhile.

Re: Rodney Williams
Kansas State, Butler, North Carolina, UCLA,Texas, Wisconsin, Kansas, Washington State, Notre Dame, Clemson, Marquette, Oklahoma, Nebraska are ones I have gathered from various sources. We are in good company on that list. If closeness to family is a factor, it helps to have us not too far away.

His Iowa Attack teammate told me he committed quietly to ISU
-
Re: Rodney Williams
quietly doesnt sound good... that means he still wants other teams to look at him?

Why would to players with this much talent narrow their choices this early in the game? Your tag says it all and that is just wrong.
