Catching Up With ISU Basketball

Scout.com: Catching Up with ISU basketball

Great interviews by Aaron...One interesting thing that was noted was that Cory Johnson is left handed, but basketball is the only sport he plays right handed.

Kind of intersting to see the perspectives and expectations from the players standpoint.

wow, Lucca dropped in ONE HUNDRED AND TWO POINTS in a game? that's Wilt-esque. Wonder what is teammates thought... "Yo Lucca, I'M OPEN!!"

I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.

One thing for sure is that GMAC is not using the "come to Ames for the wide variety of restaurants and fine dining" angle in his recruiting process.

I thought it was interesting that Rahshon mentioned that he didn't talk at all to Stinson, Blaylock, or Carr when asked. I wonder how much a lack of chemistry on the team contributed to the flop that was the '05-06 season. Chemistry is big.

Wayne was the reason for the debacle.

While I think he contributed to it, I remember hearing reports of players yelling at each other in the locker room after losses. While it's frustrating to lose games, that's something as a coach you need to be able to prevent, otherwise the team's performance takes a hit.

Deep within the heart of Iowa, a storm is brewing...
... the winds of change ripple throughout the vast fields of corn surrounding the small college town of Ames.

The Gene Chizik era of football continues, and, with it, a renewed attitude of pride, determination, and success.

This is Cyclone Football.
