    Re: Paul Shirley book review

I read it & enjoyed it a lot. Very funny guy if you enjoy his type of humor. Note that it is written as a journal/blog, so it doesn't read like a regular novel. The advantage of this, though, is that it is very easy to put down and pick back up.

I just finished it last week and thought it was hilarious.

As of matter of fact, I'm going to email Paul because I bought his practice jersey a few years back when they did the rummage sell, so I thought I'd see if he wanted to "keep his jersey"

    Re: Paul Shirley book review

I read it, and despite not being a book reader, could not put it down. I found myself reading excerpts to my wife all of the time! It was a great Father's Day gift from her...

very funny book, although towards the end his cynicism was kinda wearing on me ... if you're ever read Catcher in the rye and had the negativity get to you it was the same sort of read in the later stages - totally different topics however.
