Speak up, Gibbs. I can't hear you. Your soft verbal is unintelligible. Are you saying Clonezaga?

My guess is it's a "if you bring in somebody else at my position deal's off" kinda verbal. Maybe?

Big Whoop. By the time everyone sees Diante play, they will forget about Gibbs. Especially since noone will see him play in a few years after ESPN realizes that Gonzaga was ALL Adam Morrison. Even though they made the dance last year, they were not good.

If that what Gibbs decides to do, then good for him. Gonzaga is a great program. He is not a "make or break" recruit. Don't forget we have Buckley (we might also get his brother), whom I think is underrated and really wants to be a Cyclone. He is going to be a fine point guard for us. Grant would have been a nice get, but now we must focus our attention on a big man.

There has been a great deal of focus on landing one or two '08 big men. Unfortunately, the pickin's will get very slim if we lose Zeller and Markolf, both of whom are long shots at best.

Man this is a real downer. I really hope we don't end up with a few projects for bigs in 2008. I was hoping to land Gibbs and then some impact bigs such as Markolf or Zeller. Looks like this year might be down recruiting year. Any chance we bank a scholly or two for 09 psyched?

Soft verbal to me says he isn't so sure he really wants to go all the way out there to be a Zag. If this has really been his dream, and they've offered, why be tentative?..... unless you really know you would be better off being a Cyclone. I think GMac can still close the deal.

What is more annoying, people asking for a "big man" or "bringing back baseball"?

darn. i thought we had this kid. I'd love to see Iowa talent stay in Iowa (don't care if it even goes to EIU, UNI, or ISU).
