3.) Allen Bell is in the game but is the worst CB that they have with some odd number. But I believe the height, weight and state locations were correct. You just need to adjust the ratings.
Now i just need a good and accurate two deep to really know how to set the ratings and depth chart. Another thing, I just decided to leave Frere at DE. I mostly control a LB or a DB on defense, but even with that, Frere is a monster pass rusher in my dynasty. He's usually the one ending up with the one or two computer-controlled sacks for each game.

I am so jealous of you guys! I went and bought the game, went to work, came home from work to find my 360 not working!!! Now I have to wait like 3 weeks for it to be fixed and returned!! Talk about terrible timing!

I am in the mist of changing the players names and man that takes too long. And for those who go through every team, or the major ones that is; wow have fun.
The game actually plays well. It's smoother and feels more natural while playing, but I am concerned about the highlight stick. Its cool in its essence, but I think this will be way over hyped and certain plays will happen when really they wouldn't. Kind of like when the impact player thing was introduced.
The passing game on both sides of the ball seems more realistic. Now I have already played with sliders and have it on A.A., but the guys seem to drop more(in a good way) and it really seems that its up to you to try and make the catches. I have found that I have need to take control more often to come up with the catch which is they way it should be.
The running game seems to be tough, but always is for me off the bat. I tend to be more of a passing guy so it could just be me.
What have you thought?
How is the name changing going? I have found that I need to add Wallace Franklin and play around with others as not all the recruiting class made it in.
I have not played with Dynasty yet as I want to get the names changed, but am very excited to see if all the hype is cracked up to what it is. Now I will say that I only have it on PS2, so there were not as significant changes as the next gen versions, but enough to gain my enthusiasm again.
Later! quitarchitect have you ever tried getting the rosters from a website like psxsports.com? It usually takes about a week from the release date but that is about how long it would take for you to do it yourself, am I right?

Here are some changes to the ISU roster that I compiled from information that I've gathered here and elsewhere:
QB#7 - Bret Meyer - The 84 speed rating is a bit generous. Could be poor OL play for the past few years, but he's not really that fast. I'd bump him down to about 78-80 speed rating.
QB#12 - Phillip Bates - Should be black. All the right ratings are there.
RB#21 - Josh Johnson - Kicked off the team
C#61 - Joe McMahon - Left the team earlier this year
CB#27 - Allen Bell - I think EA mixed up his ratings with Drenard Williams, listed as #7 in the game, since Bell should be the fastest CB on the team with a 4.3ish 40 time.
CB#23 - Steve Johnson - Should be moved to FS.
FS#17 - Brandon Hunley - Should be moved to SS behind Caleb Berg, FS#21
SS#22 - Jason Harris - Move him back to RB to fill Josh Johnson's gap.
SS#36 - Michael Bibbs - Another confusing JUCO placement. He's supposed to compete for a starting role as LB, but EA put him at SS?

Bt unfortunately I dont know if the costs are autet by the satisfaction. Sure it would be nice to have all updated rosters on the entire game, but I dont know if its worth the costs. Something to consider. Does anyone want to put in their ratings for Bass and Bell that they used when they bumped them up? I would like to, but my internet at home is being crazy and lets just say that I am unable to get on. But I am interested in doing some fine tuning to the players and their positions as well, so this thread could be very helpful on that.
Oh I did start a campus legend mode, I made a FS who commited with an 80 overall, and got to 82 before the first game. I had 3 int, with a couple deflections and a forced fumble. Anyone else like this part of the game. I never really did, but I thought it would hold me over till i get the rosters ironed out.

i am happy to report that Iowa State has defeated Ball State in the Independence Bowl..no roster edits or nothing, just a straight up simulation of the 2007 campaign.

I have gotten rosters for the past 4 years from Rosterdownloads.com. They are based in Boone and do a great job.

Edit: Nevermind. I went to buy now and they showed the current games. They just dont shown them under products. Well for $4 I might just have to do this. Thanks for the link.

I'm surprised the NCAA hasn't caught onto people selling rosters for this game. There are plenty of people out there who will give you the rosters for free + shipping.

People, please do not pay for rosters. First off it's against NCAA rules. Second, there are many reputable people who will give them for free. The people who are selling them usually just steal them from the honest people anyway.
If you are looking for Xbox rosters I would recommend this site. FKRosters.com - Home | | |
