I see that we're in the lead with this tank. I couldn't read the article because I'm not a subscriber, yet. Could be a great pick up. Are you guys worried about all the Juco's we're looking at? The first two years I'll give passes to the coaches, but every year after that we should be looking at them less and less.

I really think they need to be a major part of our program for the forseeable future. That's how KSU turned into a power, and how Nebraska is resurging. We will have a hard time going toe to toe for the blue chip HS kids, probably forever. Until we put together 2-3 successful seasons we will continue to struggle there -especially with the state of Iowa being short on D1 talent.

The solution is to infuse that talent with only 5-7 Juco guys each year, hopefully we can get pickier each year, to help with your point. I think we have to go Juco this year to keep the class balances in check as well..

Gene is here to win, and to do it as quickly as possible. He will use the juco route to accomplish that if he feels it's in the best interest of the program.
