Just to let you know. It appears Memphis is in on him a long with us. Memphis is waiting to see if two bigtime recruits re-commit to them before they go after Davilla hard. Hopefully we will be able to scoop him up before Memphis figures out what happened. Just a quick update.

Doesn't look like he's supremely athletic, but he does look like a true banger. We could use that, and it'd be nice to see after the infamous period of Wayne Morgan's style over substance brand of basketball.

The latest I heard is that Memphis had cooled on Davila. There might be other schools surfacing soon though.

After watching some more of his videos this guy looks like a little taller Eric Coleman to me.
Depending on how many kids out there the staff feels good about, I would be ok with a Eik, Buck, and Davila recruiting class. I think that would be very solid after last year's huge class. Davila looks like a true post guy that can really handle himself down low.

What are our realistic chances with this guy? I think as good as anyone at this point. Not a lock for sure but we have a good shot at him.

With a little help from our S&C coach he WILL be supremely athletic.
Maybe we should start scouting China for the next 7' sensation.
