"Very surprised to see very little Haluska mentions."
Ive seen him play several times, so Im not surprised.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Brister start in Taylor's spot. It seemed like he was recruited as an insurance policy for just such an occasion. He may not be a prolific scorer but if he can handle the rock and play some D he'll see a lot of minuetes. He has an extra year of experiance in prep school and is probebly ready physically to handle Big XII play. He's not Curtis Stinson but right now we just need someone to bring the ball up the floor.
Since I don't think next year is an NCAA year, I kind of had a change of heart and I want the freshman to get as much PT as possible. I really hope we don't see too many minutes from Haluska and Peterson. I mean they are non-scholarship 2 year players and at this point I want to keep building for the future.
With the absence of MT, I think we are really going to struggle in the early part of the Big 12 season. No Big 12 guard experience.
While I agree we have plenty of depth in the front court, that front court is useless if we can't get the ball up the court and into the hands of our big guys.
