    Andy Fales has started in KC

    Watching 6:00 news tonight, and Andy Fales was doing sports on Channel 9. I don't know how long he's been there, but it is good to see him again.

    Andy Fales was easily the second best sports guy in the state of Iowa. It's hard to believe that he didn't go to an even bigger market. It was a smart career move though, because Keith Murphy will never surrender the title of best sports guy around. I believe that Andy could be an ESPN type guy. The guy knows his sports and he has wit. That is a deadly combo.

    Living in Colorado now shows just how good they are. The guys in Denver and Colorado Springs have nothing on Keith and Andy. I'd even go as far to say that they are better than anyone in Chicago as well. I don't know if people in central Iowa know just how lucky they are to have had two outstanding guys before and still have Keith Murphy.

    Sorry, but I guess I'm pretty rabid about my television news sports guys...

    I know Keith has been offered ESPN jobs many times but he likes it here too much. I think Andy would be perfect for ESPN and in KC he might just get the exposure he needs to get a job with them.

    I tried to avoid that show he was on, but when I was unfortunate to catch it, he always came off as angry about nothing. I understand that's his way of stirring up interest and retaining viewers, but sometimes just was downright arrogant. My apologies to those in KC.

    I love the show, "SoundOFF." Andy, was arrogant at times, but it made the show funny and entertaining. Since he left, it's definitly not as good anymore. But still a great show to watch on Sunday nights.
