So... any CF'ers out there going to be RAGBRAI-ing it up next week?? Not having grown up in Iowa I didn't even know it existed until almost the end of school when a couple buddies of mine asked if I wanted to go and told them "Hell no, are you crazy?!". Two completed RAGBRAI's later I'm leaving for my third tour of the state tomorrow. It really is a great thing we have here in Iowa, I couldn't (and still can't) believe the amount of people that come from all over the country to ride, it's insane!! Anywho, hopefully we'll see some of you out on the road!!

You can do even a longer ride in nebraska.

See you on The Ride.
Team Nuts at Nine - Go Nuts!
Nebraska's may be longer, but nobody does it as well as the grandaddy of all rides: RAGBRAI

I was all set to do it, and then I found out that a conference I have to go to in Mason City takes place at the same time... I'm really bummed about it. I'm awesome at biking long flat stretches (not so good at the hills), so I'm missing a year that really caters to my strength. Oh well... There's always next year, I guess.

I'll be leaving tomorrow morning with "Team DMU" Des Moines University; We have 27 riders this year, which is a lot for our team. Ill be riding a silver Trek 1000. Have fun and ride safe to all other riders going!

Le Tour de France would call you a sprinter because you are good on the flats, if you were good in the hills you would be called a climber, for me, I'm just glad to make it from town to town. Look for me on a Trek Pilot, last years model that is silver and black, I look like a dang Oakland Raider.

Only 12 hours till our bus leaves Ames, bag is packed and I'm ready to go. Getting VERY excited!! I'll be the one on the red '04 Trek 1200 with the yellow handle bars.

Not going this year, I am thinking about finally breaking down and getting a bike for a triathalon. Maybe next year I will ride a few stages. Everyone in my office is going, so I have to stay back so someoene is there this year.
