After Harrison finally talked to Callahan this morning, they announced he was released from Nebraska. Goiing back home to be closer to Mom. Who would want a qb who disappeared for 48 hours anyway to pout. He could not play qb in my book. I am not sure who they can develop for next year during this season that is athletic. Josh Freeman went to KState and they wish they had him now.

I really doubt Bates would entertain any offers. This kid has spoken very highly of ISU and the staff - reading his interviews has been a pleasure.

You know, playing qb at Nebraska is really a stress job. 75k people expect Superman. Fail and you will be Joe Dailey, Mike Stuntz, Harrison Beck, and several others. Isd that worth it? Go to Ames and just do your thing. Bates has it figured out.
