Darius Stevens
Wow, he looks just like his Dad.... -
Re: Darius Stevens
Except for the fact that Barry had the sweetest left-handed release ever, I'd agree with you... Darius doesn't have the distinctive "widow's peak" either...

Re: Darius Stevens
Barry wasnt left-handed....he only dunked left handed.

Re: Darius Stevens
Darius sure is athletic. He doesn't have a lot of strength but he can run and has some good instincts. He obviously didn't fall too far from the tree.
On a side note, Darius is a 2010 recruit and is already predicted to be a top 150 recruit by some. He's 6'6" and is being pursued by Iowa State.

A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player. -
Re: Darius Stevens
I'm guessing this is why the athletic department and University tried not to sound too involved in the fundraiser... That 2010 class could be pretty sweet

I'd never even heard of Darius before today, but I'm all for him wearing the Cardinal & Gold in the future!

Re: Darius Stevens
I saw that picture and did a double-take. It's hard to tell, but it looked like he was shooting from the corner just like his dad. Whether Darius ends up a Cyclone or not, it pretty neat that he was able to witness exactly how beloved his father was in Ames.

Re: Darius Stevens
He payed great today. From what ive seen 1st hand, he played much better than Harrison Barnes did in the Cap city league. But then again, Darius had some GREAT inspiration today, and he was playing against a lot older/slower competition.
How great would Dykstra, Barnes, D. Stevens look for 2010?!? Can you say top 5 class!?!

Re: Darius Stevens
He would be such a crowd favorite. Hell, two Iowa boys and Barry Stevens' son in the same class! I can't imagine the energy in Hilton if they are tearing it up.

Re: Darius Stevens
Wow...very close resembence sans the widow's peak...how young is he?

I cheer for two teams, Iowa State and whoever is playing the hawkeyes. -
Re: Darius Stevens
He is a sophomore to be and would be in the 2010 class, as stated before.
