Re: Down Time
I'm a huge football fan myself (obviously), but I think it's silly to say that nobody cares about baseball. In recent years baseball has been consistantly breaking attendance and TV viewership records. Really, in terms of popularity, the game is at an all time high. You know who else set all time attendance records this season? The NBA. To say the NBA's popularity is at an all time high is totally incorrect.

Certainly can't disagree with that. Clearly different sports to watch, which is why I enjoy them both.

Also, I didn't mean to say baseball is bad - I love baseball, I love watching the Cubs, but the popularity of football (my all time favorite sport) in this country appears to be far greater than any other sport right now and training camps and holdouts and rookie contracts get more headlines than pennant races...However, Pacman Jones and Michael Vick are doing their best at turning those fortunes! -

I meant Merriman was defensive ROY for the 05-06 season.
