    Will Brackins be Mcd AA?

    Ranked as the 17th best player in the nation how couldnt he get in? We've had this discussion before but it seems logical now that he is so far up in the rankings.

    Can you be a McDonald's all-American out of a prep school? Or do you have to be a high school player?

    I don't believe 5th year prep players are eligible for McD's AA.

    I believe Prep school guys can still be McD All American. I was looking at the roster from this year's team, and there are a handfull of prep guys on the list.

    I don't remember all of the rules regarding becoming a McD eligible player. It's kind of a crap-shoot anyways when you look at the rosters and previous players. A lot of times the best players aren't on the team, but the second wave of the players are. I'll have to see if I can find the official McD requirements.
    A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player.

    A player must be a graduating high school senior to participate in the McD game. Brackins will not qualify next year.
