That really is bad for ISU this season but, more important, what a terrible thing to happen to a good, talented kid. After one knee goes out, the other does as well. Wow. I really feel sorry for him.
Hopefully, we have a great freshmen waiting to step in and playing.
i've heard its only a scope on his knee so that is more optimistic than i once thought. you can recover from that faster than most other knee surgerys. i still don tknow if he can ever touch the field. its a shame because he really seems like he could have been great.
Damm.... I wanted to see what Jason could do. I am afraid we will never see him on the field again.
At this point I'm just hoping that the poor guy will be able to walk pain-free as he ages. This has got to be the most frustrating thing in the world for him. Hopefully he'll be back.
In the meantime, I really hope that Jason Harris has learned to hold on to the football. He looked really explosive at times last year. Every time he got it going, he'd fumble, eg Baylor and Okie St.
Its not just that he is a good player plaqued by injury, its that he is a great person plaqued by injury. I've heard from many people who have met him and some that know him personally that he is a class act and a great person. Good luck getting rid of your injuries Jason, we'll be pulling for you.
No one knows yet the extent of the injury/surgery.
Hopefully something will be released in the next few days. But knowing how D-Mac handles injury reports...we won't know much until we see Jason on the field or...not at all.
Some people can recover from a minor knee scope in a matter of weeks. Hopefully Jason is one of them. At least it wasnt damage to his already surgically repaired knee. Im pulling for you Jason!
Register did say it was just to clean up cartilage, maybe 4-6 weeks, if that. We still have three weeks until our first game. Hopefully he is able to come back.
I am a hawk fan but hearing of this injury just puts a rock in my stomach. I never met the kid but always got the impression that he was a super kid. I hope he recovers fully and tears up the defenses instead of his knee. Do I remember correctly that Jason was an honors student and going to be an engineer? If so he is at the right University. If it was just a clean up he will be back. Recover quickly Jason.
