Just came across this snippet from NBArumors.com...
"Will Blalock (183-G-83, agency: Passing Lane, college: Iowa St.) signed with Hapoel Jerusalem after spending this past season with the NBA's Detroit Pistons. The 1.83m guard played in only 14 games for Detroit and played for the Denver Nuggets NBA Summer League team this past July scoring 10.5 pts and dishing out 3.5 assists per game.
–Eurobasket.com"
Too bad he couldn't find a new home in the NBA, but maybe he can prove himself overseas and come back home in the near future...

I'm surprised he did that. I would have thought he could play in the NBADL with a chance at getting called up.
Avoid Hamas while you're over there Will, good luck!

Credits: 1,102,555 Year: 2002 Degree: MIS NFL: Chiefs NBA: Bulls MLB: Cubs | At least a few beasts in East - The Boston Globe Overseas opportunity Boston native Will Blalock made the Pistons last season as a second-round draft pick, but Detroit decided to let him go and did not pick up his option. "We just didn't have enough roster spots," hoops boss Joe Dumars wrote in an e-mail. "We like Blalock, but didn't have the room to bring him back." Blalock reappeared in the Summer League playing for the Denver Nuggets' entry, but apparently that didn't lead to any gainful employment either. So, with his NBA options dwindling, he decided to sign with Hapoel Jerusalem in Israel, last year's runner-up to Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Israeli championships. | | |

I would love to see him be able to catch on with the Celtics now that they have dealt away so many players... Imagine some of the passes he could make to that big 3... Plus, I still beleive he is better than Rondo!

They mentions fizers team in there too. If he is making close to what fizer is over there, it probably was not a bad decision. He will probably make alot more then he could in the nbadl.
