Mark May is awful, and not just for the Iowa comments... I don't know what the producers of ESPN are thinking-- they kick off Rodney Gilmore, who I thought was pretty fair and pleasant. Replace him with Trev Alberts, who has the demeanor of a pro wrestler. Now it's Mark May who can't settle for just a debate or agreeing to disagree, he has to slip in personal jabs and jerk comments towards his co-host at every turn. Old Lou is no saint but I were his age I wouldn't put up with Mark's constant disrespect.

They need to realize that college FB fans are not necessarily NFL fans and we don't need an EXTREME or bombastic show with insults and yelling to get us to watch.

BTW, if ESPN continues CFB coverage on this path a MNF-style segment with everyone yelling "JACKED UP" (or whatever it is), I'm canceling cable forever.

Sorry for the rant... did some googling on Mr. Gilmore and apparently he is a successful real estate attorney. Maybe he left on his own. Interesting.

I guess the think that pisses me off most about May is it's clear the guy knows nothing about College Football. I mean, Corso and Herbstriet sometimes act like complete *****, but at least they know their stuff. It's very clear that May doesn't. When he makes predictions it's on name recognition alone. I think most across the country that don't have intimate knowledge of ISU still know who Bret Meyer and Todd Blythe are. Yet May flubs it badly. I know we like to rip the DSM sports talk show hosts, but we figure for them they do it for ratings. I think May just happens to be that much of an idiot.
