They just want to hate Jamie because they're intimidated by him. Plain and simple. He's got ambitions and goals and he's hellbent on accomplishing those goals. He doesn't care about the University of Iowa or their fans. And he shouldn't. Let them hate Jamie and his "schemes." Fact of the matter is, we just took a huge step this football season (already 4,000 more season tickets sold this year) towards reaching his goals and football hasn't even started yet! It's a great time to be a Cyclone!

If they dislike Pollard soooo much, he must be great for ISU.

Hawkeye fans just refuse to believe that comes September 15 they won't be able to overpollute the Jack with their filthy black and gold with single game tickets sold at the ticket counter that day. But then again, isn't it always the case that Sqwak fans know better than the rest of us about what's going on at ISU?

Read the "Prizes" portion carefully…
It states that:

10 semifinal prize packages consisting of:
4 tickets to the Iowa State vs. Iowa football game on Saturday, Sept. 15 at 12:30 p.m. in Ames; plus admission for 4 to a tent event hosted by Applebee's; plus one $100 ethanol gift certificate.

To me it appears that Applebee's purchased a tent and is sponsoring a tent gathering. The Tent Sales come with up to 50 tickets each. This means there will be 10 Iowa Lottery winners and their guests, plus 10 representatives from the Iowa Lottery and/or Applebee's. Spin it how they want, Pollard has not gone against his word on the ticket issue for the Iowa/Iowa State game.

I'm surprised they all want to come to JTS again this year...they must only want to see 3 quarters of football like they did 2 years ago.

Another thing I found funny is that some hawk fans are thinking that the 12th team in the Big Ten, because Delaney said there would be teams no one has thought about, could be USC, FSU, Miami (FL), Nebraska, Texas, or Boise State.

Shift in topic a little...

I while back there was talk that EIU FB stadium would be opened up for the EIU/ISU game, the game shown on the score board monitor, and proceeds from admission would be given to charity or something. Did that ever go through? I thought there were problems with licensing or something. I may have missed this topic and hopefully I'm not rehashing old news (sorry if I am). Thanks!
