Re: Big 12 Sports on XM Radio
sirius also has your iowa state cyclones covered, along with the big 12 title game. ne1 know when the 2 companies are merging?
Re: Big 12 Sports on XM Radio
How can they both be covering it? Usually there is exclusivity contracts. Last I heard about the merger, it was next spring at least. And to get all programming from both systems it would be $16.99 a month. Too rich for me, I like my $8 plan.

this sounds interesting:
Tomorrow, XM and SIRIUS will file their joint reply comments with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). The filing will include detailed programming and pricing plans, including two a la carte options. One option will allow subscribers to choose 50 channels for just $6.99 -- a 46 percent decrease from the current standard subscription rate of $12.95. Under this option, customers will also be able to include additional channels for as little as 25 cents each. The second a la carte option will allow subscribers to choose 100 channels and will allow SIRIUS customers to select from some of the best of XM's programming (and XM subscribers to choose from some of the best of SIRIUS' programming).

A la carte? Wait that can't work can it?!?!? Wake up cable industry, this is what you should be doing!
BTW, post #200!
Re: Big 12 Sports on XM Radio
This would be great. I love the NFL on Sirius, but I wish I had the MLB channel.

Now that is what I am talking about....
I only renew my Sirius (man I love channel 198) when the 3 for 1 offer comes out... $12/month is too much for this product, imo.
But 6.99 and a couple quarters for a few select channels.... sweet.
- keep.

I like the a la carte idea, but I have recently been just flipping through XM channels, and I have found a few I really like. Fred is pretty good, so that has now made it to my rotation. If only had a la carte, I would probably never find these.

I have sirius. What is the 3 for 1 offer? Is this 3 receivers for the price of 1?
