Cyclones -4 to Kent State.

I LOVE this time of year! Maybe ill go with the money line until i see how much better we are than last year. Or do I try and make a lot before the "experts" figure us out?

Someone said we are 14 pt. dogs to Iowa on Sept. 15th. I dont know many places thatll put out numbers 7 weeks ahead of time. But i remember making quite a bit on -26 from texas last year and whatever the Iowa game was. We only covered those 2 plus Mizzou.

I would take that bet with Kent St. and if the Iowa spread is true I would take ISU also. Seems like every year, no matter what, Iowa starts out as a double digit favorite against ISU.

-4 with KSU. Mark this pretend bet down....10 Grand. I we don't beat a bad Kent state team by more than 2 touchdowns at home, Its going to be a long year.
I just wish I had a bunch of money to put down on that..

Hopefully it hits nice as the K State Louisville game did last year.

Bad Kent St team? They were 6-6 last year and look to be improving even more. They were terrible when the coach first got there but he has turned that program around

That's what I was going to say. I know we have a new regime in place, but how many times have we seen our teams come out flat in the first game of the season? Too many times. This Kent State team beat the crap out of Toledo 40-14 last season. I don't need to remind you what we did against Toledo last year.

I'd probably put big money on that line as well, but I really won't be surprised to see another game like we saw against Toledo last year when we match up against Kent State.

There is no way in hell there is any line out for the Iowa game.
No sportsbook in their right mind would release a line this far out when both teams need to play other games before this game is played.

I typically don't bet on Iowa State because of the emotional factor but I'm willing to put a decent chunk of money that we cover 4.

If we come out flat for Gene's first game, I think I would sell my season tickets on the spot. I thought he was very aggressive when coming out to play the games. Kent State will be mince meat no matter how much they are improved.
