2007 ISU football record poll

I didn't see a poll anywhere with expectations for the season. What will be our regular season record?

Sticking to 4-5 wins right now, went with 5 (2 conference, 3 non-conference).

So far this poll is much more realistic than the 6, 7 or even 8 wins that were being discussed a few months ago.

I voted for 6-6, and would say our wins will be against Kent State, UNI, Iowa, Toledo, Texas Tech, and Colorado.

Texas Tech might be a bit of a stretch, but I think we have to upset someone on the road this year, and it might as well be them.

damn, my first post is already looking silly as the 6-6 and 7-5 crowd comes to the party.

I hope I'm wrong, and I hope our pass defense isn't ranked dead last in division 1 at any point this year ... but hope doesn't play in the secondary.

I'll go with 5-7 as well but I think 4-8 is just as likely.

If I look at the schedule, it's hard for me to see more than 5 wins. We'll know a lot more after the first game.

I say 5-7 with wins over Kent State, UNI, Toledo, Colorado and Kansas State. Iowa and Kansas are the swing games on the schedule.

I'm saying 7-5 with wins over Kent St, UNI, Iowa, Toledo, Kansas St, Colorado, and Kansas. I think the difference between this team and last year's team is intensity, mental and toughness, and intestinal fortitude that will keep us in all games, win games that we should win, and even keep our spirits up in the midst of a midseason 5 game losing streak.

Nope. I wouldn't be willing to put any money on ANYTHING occurring this season. I wouldn't put money on 4 wins just as I wouldn't put money on 12 wins. There are just too many unknowns. I just think 7 is feasible.
