Is it common for ISU not to have the logos on the helmet this early in practice?
I know when Parcells used to coach, he would make all of the rookies play with a helmet with no logo on it. He wanted them to earn the logo on the helmet.
Is this standard practice around here, or is this something Chizik implemented? I'm guessing the latter, and I like it.
I'd say it's common for all teams not to have logos on their helmets this early. The stickers are only going to have to be ripped off so the helmets can be buffed and repainted every so often. Might as well not throw stickers away when we're not playing any games right now.Quote:
