Lemming on Big 12 North Recruiting
From the Husker board I call home:
Lemming was on an Omaha sports station yesterday, thought you guys would like read what Lemming had to say:
He said Missouri, Nebraska, Colorado, and KU are all making headway on some outstanding players.
He then said Iowa State is doing the same thing they're always doing.
Here's his quote about K-State:
"I have no clue what Prince is doing and I'm not sure he has any idea either." "Lot's of teams and even Coach SNyder used to search and find gems in recruiting. Prince is trying to find 15 gems within 3 hours of Manhattan, and history is not on his side."
Lemming maintained every program in the Big 12, EXCEPT K-STATE, is putting together a quality class.
He thinks Nebraska and Mizzou from the North will both be in the top 5 of Big 12 recruiting, and K-State is looking at the last place class in the league.
Very funny stuff. With the players leaving and all the pop warner recruits he is bring in the (Ron Prince) story line keeps getting more bizzare....
What I find most Interesting..
Is that Mizzou is putting together a quality class. How are they able to recruit so well given the past few years and a coach that is questionable?
Otherwise, the post makes total sense.
It will be sometime yet before ISU is putting together highly ranked recruiting classes. We need to further the facility improvement plan and win more games. I still think that ISU does a good job at finding talent despite that fact that our classes don't rank highly.
