34,767

34,767 is a great total - over 4000 more season tickets sold than last year. Having over 35,000 season tickets sold will look even better. This number will only shoot up next year if we have any kind of a decent season. I'd like to see us have over 40,000 in the next couple of years - especially with the stadium expansion.

Anything is possible, wealready have over 4000 new believers in Chizik, Imagine how many will come out if he wins 6,7,8 games this year.

Has there been any word on the additional student tickets that are for sale? Isn't there an additional 800 students tickets available that aren't counted yet. Hopefully when the students show up they can get those sold too.

are there any incoming freshmen on this board? or anyone who knows an incoming freshmen? current students got emails all last spring. im wondering when incoming students received their info to buy tickets.

I have a younger brother that is an incoming freshman. He got information early this summer...but he was also one of the very first students accepted, through orientation, and signed up for classes. I didn't give him much of a choice on where he was going to school, hahaha. I'm pretty sure he got ticket information around the time that he was sent his orientation info...so all incoming freshman should have had the info to buy tickets by now.

I am an incoming freshman. The athletic dept. had a booth set up selling tickets during orientation. Thats where I got mine.

I doubt it's 4000 new season ticket holders, likely that number is higher...with people dropping off from last year to this fall.

I'd be very interested in knowing how many of the season tickets sold were new vs. renewals.

Didn't JP say there were 2,000 seats that were not renewed from last year?

I think that is right or something around that figure, if I remember correctly it was just a few more than that.
