I'd say judging from practice notes thus far we are prolly looking the most closely at J.J. Bass and Alexander Robinson for starting RB, they just seem to be popping up the most. We will see though, Robinson just isn't a name I expected to hear us much us we are, pretty crazy

Robinson might be able to catch the ball out of the backfield too. That would certainly make things more interesting offensively.

Instead of leaving Stevie in so he could block on third down, we can have a viable flare out, swing pass option. That is fine in my book.

do you have any inside on Robinson? Is he legit and have a chance to play?
Also, are you hearing anything about Lyle, Weir, or Tate?
Always appreciate your posts.

Robinson sound like he could be a great flanker. Man have I missed J.J. Moses the last few years. The guy could just make plays.

JT tailgater, He has put on some weight and is very quick... I know that Bolt got frustrated and called him Barry Sanders, because he was making moves on the defense. He is a little undersized, but that hasnt stopped alot of people. Right now, just as any year, it is hard to tell who will come through in a game day situation. Expect to see many looks at these guys during the first couple of weeks, I think we will actually see all of our backs get a shot. Cameron Bell is going to be a real special player as well. Also you would be interested to know that Meyer hit Robinson on a pass out of the backfield for a 24 yard gain in yesterdays scrimmage.
Lyle Weir and Tate have been living up to expectations in practice so far, Ofcourse everyone has to learn the system but these guys have a 1up because they are big physical athletes and have been through similar systems. I think they WILL make an impact this season, which is the goal of JUCOs.

In just his senior year alone he rushed for 2,340 yards on 201 carries and scored 31 touchdowns. I'm very excited about the depth at RB this year and agree that we will probably see at least 3 different guys the first couple of weeks.

Not sure if you are talking about Robinson or Bell, but that is 11.6 yards per carry.
For a team who had a starting RB in the 3.3 YPC range, that looks pretty impressive.
