ABC---Anybody but Clinton. I have visions of her being elected and morphing into the emperor on Star Wars.
Besides, do we really want to have another dynasty in this country? No more Bushes, no more Clintons. Let's break this cycle.

More and more as I watch these yutzes on tv, during their campaigns - the more I like Lewis Black's idea.
"We take the winner of American Idol. And that person throws a dart at map of the United States. At that place is where we take the monkey and throw it out of an airplane and let it parachute down. And the first person who the monkey comes up to and takes by the hand - THAT's the president"
Quick, easy, cheap, and quite possibly about the same quality.

I was there when they crucified my Lord
I held the scabbard when the soldier drew his sword
I threw the dice when they pierced his side
But I've seen love conquer the great divide

Second and I hate to say this and it's not my personal feeling but I know a lot of narrow-minded people that think this way, I think there are enough people out there that don't want to see a woman running the country that it would be a big issue Hillary would need to overcome. I could support a female candidate if I felt she was qualified, in this case I don't think that of Hillary is the right choice but whether she is or not I know of female friends that have flat out told me qualified or not they would not feel comfortable with a woman running the country. Hate to say it but that stereotype does exist out there.
We'll see what happens in the primaries but right now the Democrats haven't impressed me. Obama is a smooth talker but I can see past that and look at his expirience and to me he doesn't have enough of it to make me buy into what he says. Give him some more years in the senate where he can take some stances through legislation voting then let's see what kind of track record he has to back up the talk.
I've always thought Giuliani would make a good President but lately Romney has also got me thinking as well.

P.S. Thanks for spelling Giuliani right. It always makes me said when people spell it G uiliani instead of G iuliani.
The same thing happens to my last name all the time.

Is anybody else completely unexcited by the frontrunners? It might be another write-in year for me.

I sincerely believe that there is a deep undercurrent of bigotry in American politics where the rubber meets the road in the voting booth. Clinton has the female issue to overcome. Obama has the racial issue. Romney has the religion issue to overcome.
Romney's Mormonism is an issue with me. The founder of that religion was a dyed-in-the-wool WACK job. Off the deep end nuts.

While Joseph Smith was a couple taco's short of a combo platter I'd say most of his followers are well meaning do gooders(except for the polygimists). The Tom Cruises of the world on the other hand are a different sort entirely.

While I agree with you somewhat joe, Romney's flip flopping is a bigger issue of concern with me. That guy is worse than Kerry in that regard, and that is something I never thought I'd be able to utter.
