Anyone else seems replacable at this point. Arnaud sounds competant, we have a slew of running backs, we don't really know who our starters are in the secondary so there can't be that big of a let down, we have guys that are ready at linebacker.
Basically I think we just need to avoid a lot of injuries to one position. We have some backups but we are not extremely deep anywhere.
Meyer is the hardest guy to replace. He has been through the wars, and knows how to make things happen. Bowen would also be a huge loss. Anyone that led the nation in tackles last year has to be covering a lot of field.
Re: Injuries - Who can ISU least afford to get hurt?
Meyer on O. As good as Arnaud and/or Bates MAY be, neither of them appear to be quite ready to fill in for Meyer if he goes down. I'd hate to lose Blythe, but we have some depth and talent at WR. Running back is truly deep. A loss of anyone on the O Line is probably a concern.
Bowen on D. He is the heart and soul of a young defense. Losing him would be tough.
Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice? Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this.
